We’re not a guided tour; we’re a shared rental. We provide a suggested itinerary with camping and activity options, but ultimately you decide what to do with your new friends.

Travel is cheaper shared. A shared rental can be up to half the price and twice as long as a guided tour allowing you to fully experience incredible destinations.
Most people that join Share Bus are solo travellers. Meet new friends and create lasting memories with up to 11 other adventurers.
All the equipment you need for a camping road trip is included! Just bring yourself, a sleeping bag, and use our recommended itinerary to plan your trip with your travel mates.

HOW IT WORKS
Our backpacking trips in Australia offer a stress-free and fun way to explore our beautiful country. Here’s how it works:
we find the group
You sign up for a date, we find the rest of the group for you to travel in and organise a group chat and meeting ahead of the trip.
we prepare the bus and trailer
We provide you with a well-checked, clean and organised set of equipment. Regular maintenance, checks and services mean our vehicles are ready for your road trip.
handover together
We give you a detailed handover teaching you how to use everything, including how to use the trailer. We will also give you plenty of advice for your trip.
you plan your adventure
You plan your adventure with your new travel mates using the recommended itinerary. We’ll be available for guidance if you need.
you enjoy with new friends
Hike, snorkel, explore national parks, camp under the stars and cook meals in the open air. Make the most of your Australian adventure with new friends.

12 SEAT MINI BUS
You are provided with a 12 seat mini bus equipped with a custom trailer to store all supplies and luggage. Feel like taking the driver’s seat? You can! If not, no worries—driving is not mandatory.
CAMPING & COOKING EQUIPMENT

Our passionate team has developed detailed itineraries for each route that make sure you can choose from the very best low-cost campsites and activities at each destination. And yes, you have the freedom to alter as you wish!

Fuel, roadside assistance & national park entry
Your booking covers fuel costs, roadside assistance, insurance and the cost of national park entry on your trip – your only extra costs are food and shared campsites (+ spending money)!

Essentials like salt and pepper, cleaning products and more are provided for your convenience. Plus, we offer a fantastic selection of games like ball games, card games and snorkels. No camping trip is complete without some fun around the campfire!
